Rahat Sood, DMD Will Take Excellent Care of Your Smile

Dr. Rahat Sood earned a bachelor’s degree in dental surgery while living in India. Pursuing her passion, she later obtained her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, graduating with high honors. After spending time improving her dental skills at a practice in Massachusetts, she moved to Maryland to be closer to her family.

Because Dr. Sood strives to provide her patients with comfortable, compassionate care, she is devoted to learning more about dentistry and continually improving herself. Along with our dedicated team, she takes an interdisciplinary approach to dental care, combining her expertise with other specialties to help you maintain a healthy, beautiful smile. She is a member of the American Dental Association and the Maryland State Dental Association.

I was a previous patient patient of a different dentist at this same location. When my dentist retired, I switched providers. I thought I had an issue with an Orthodondic bracket on my tooth. Crofton Dental Center was able to fit me in on short notice for a possible repair. This was my first time meeting with Dr Sood. After examination, it turned out the bracket was fine. Dr. Sood was generous with her time and we had a nice chat about my overall dental situation. At the end, I asked how much for her time and she said it was just a consult and there was no charge. Dr. Sood has a warm and welcoming personality that sets you at ease immediately I would encourage you to give this practice a try if you are looking for compassionate and friendly dental care. These are good people. As a result of my experience with Dr. Sood, I am switching my dental care provider to Crofton Dental Center!
